About LEX CONFORM
LEX CONFORM is a specialist project of Lex Agency LLC dedicated to product regulatory requirements, conformity assessment and international market access.
What the project covers
We examine the compliance questions that arise before placing products on a market: product classification, applicable regulations and standards, technical documentation, testing, labelling, registration and the responsibilities of manufacturers, importers and authorised representatives. Our publications cover more than 30 national and regional markets; coverage of a topic does not imply that every type of product can be handled in every country.
How an individual request is assessed
A meaningful assessment begins with the product description, intended use, technical characteristics, production country, intended sales countries, existing reports and certificates, and the applicant’s role in the supply chain. These facts determine which requirements may apply and which evidence is still missing.
